The first film is the Moon and Mars. The second is a blue planet and its moon.

For children · ages 6 to 10 · £12 once

Where will you go?

The Moon. Mars. Or a place only this child knows. Pack the bag, then write what you hope to see. An adult sits with them. You plan it at home.

The Moon. Earth's moon. Rocky, with no air to breathe and no wind. A footprint can last a long time.

Look for: A footprint, and why it would last

Pick a place to read one fact. The bag, the choices, and the colour cards open after you pay.

What you get

  • Six places: the Moon, Mars, an asteroid, Jupiter from far away, Saturn’s rings, or a place the child invents.
  • An explorer card: name, job, date, and the place.
  • A bag to pack, and one extra thing they type.
  • Three things to look for at the place they chose.
  • One choice, with the reason after they pick.
  • A line for what they would write down, and one pretend find.
  • Colour cards for every place, and a note that says the pretend trip is finished.
  • A film of the Moon and Mars, and a film of a blue planet and its moon. The names are on the cards, not in the films.

Before you buy

Any adult can do this with a child. A parent, a teacher, a grandparent, or someone else looking after them. One child, or two. Print a colour card for each.

You plan it at home. It is not homework, not a mark, and not a real trip.

The planet evening is a different page. Paying here does not open it.
